A Tribute to Louis Armstrong

Join us for a tribute to the greatest jazz trumpeter of all time, Louis Armstrong. Hear James Morrison perform some of Satchmo’s classic hits as well as golden standards from his big band days, all with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra. Louis Armstrong’s life is an American dream, transcending class and racial divides, establishing a new sound and leading generations of marginalised musicians into the mainstream. What a wonderful world!

The Audi German Film Festival

The Audi German Film Festival will bring the most outstanding German film productions to Australia. Audiences are invited to join us for the festival and to participate in the Golden Gnome Audience award where you can vote for your favourite film and win a trip to Germany! The 2010 festival kicks off with Soul Kitchen from renowned director Fatih Akin. The film dazzled critics at the 2009 Venice Film Festival, winning the Special Jury prize, Young Cinema award and a Golden Lion nomination.
